Abstract

This article discusses settler colonialism, systemic harm, and how Indigenous creativity creates spaces for Indigenous identities to thrive outside of their trauma. Since understanding and knowing the context of Indigenous histories remains relevant to their stories, we take a closer look at the very real consequences of systemic harm while highlighting Indigenous creativity despite colonialism. 


This piece was made as a learning resource for those who may not be well-informed on issues relating to settler colonialism and Indigenous reclamation.
